TWO DIFFERENT OMEGA SYSTEMS

Website Generation Engines build the website. Omega Plugins operate the hosted website.

The Omega Plugins architecture is a managed-hosting operational system. It is separate from the Omega Website Generation Engines that plan, generate and validate new websites during the Builder generation pipeline.

BUILD-TIME SYSTEM

Omega Website Generation Engines

Specification, planning, architecture, content, design, images, SEO/schema, accessibility, forms/backend, deployment, quality and final validation belong to the website-generation pipeline.

HOSTED WEBSITE OPERATIONS

Omega Plugins

Image, Performance, Security, SEO, Web Metrics, Uptime & Availability, Accessibility Monitor and Scheduled Task Monitor operate against the customer's actual provisioned Pure HTML or WordPress website after Omega verifies the website and its hosting entitlement.

MY ACCOUNT • WEBSITE ID • HOSTING ENTITLEMENT

One customer entry point. One shared website selector.

Customers access Omega Plugins through My Account and Website Engines. The browser selects a Website ID, while authentication and operational authority remain server-side. Omega resolves the signed-in account, website ownership, active hosting status, provisioning state, hosted platform and live website allocation before plugin execution is allowed.

01 • Sign In Open the existing Omega customer account.
02 • Website Engines Choose Website Engines from My Account.
03 • Select Website Choose one owned hosted website from the shared selector.
04 • Automatic Platform Omega loads the Pure HTML or WordPress implementation automatically.
Hosting entitlement is authoritative. An owned website without an eligible active, provisioned Omega Hosting plan can still be represented in Website Engines, but all operational plugin areas remain unavailable and show Hosting required.

PLATFORM-SPECIFIC IMPLEMENTATIONS

Pure HTML stays Pure HTML. WordPress stays WordPress.

Omega does not force WordPress behaviour onto a static website or treat a WordPress installation like a collection of unrelated static files. Each plugin family is built around the real platform it serves.

PURE HTML

Eight Hosted Pure HTML Engines

The Pure HTML family operates against the hosted site's real files, markup, media and supported server configuration. It uses platform-appropriate file operations, analysis, backups and controlled server-side execution.

WORDPRESS

Eight WordPress Plugin Implementations

The WordPress family works through WordPress-native capabilities, hooks, media APIs, administrator controls, settings and persistent application state appropriate to an authenticated WordPress installation.

WEBSITE ENGINES CONTROL SURFACE

One website selection shared across all eight plugin types.

Website Engines uses one hosted-website selector rather than making the customer repeatedly choose the same website inside eight operational systems. Omega establishes the authoritative website context once and then loads the required plugin area.

◈ Image

Responsive image processing, media analysis, variants and delivery controls.

⚡ Performance

Platform-aware optimisation, safe operating modes and compatibility controls.

◆ Security

Integrity, scanning, protection and hardening workflows.

↗ SEO

Technical SEO, metadata, canonical, social and structured-data controls.

▥ Web Metrics

Diagnostics, findings, recommendations, retained history and baselines.

◉ Uptime & Availability

HTTPS availability, response-time, TLS and connectivity monitoring with outage and recovery history.

♿ Accessibility Monitor

Post-deployment automated accessibility checks, issue reporting, retained history and regression monitoring.

↻ Scheduled Task Monitor

Omega-hosted scheduled-task health for Pure HTML websites and real WP-Cron monitoring for WordPress websites.

The Website Engines interface presents the selected website's authoritative hosting state first and loads the full plugin interfaces as required rather than forcing all eight operational systems to load simultaneously.

OMEGA HOSTING ENTITLEMENT

Operational plugin access follows the hosted website.

Active + provisioned hosting

When the selected owned website has an eligible active Omega Hosting entitlement and has been provisioned, Omega resolves its platform and allows the appropriate hosted plugin implementations to operate.

Hosting required

An owned website without eligible active hosting can still be shown in Website Engines, but the Image, Performance, Security, SEO, Web Metrics, Uptime & Availability, Accessibility Monitor and Scheduled Task Monitor operational controls remain locked.

Lifetime Licence is separate

The US$999 Lifetime Single Website Domain Licence is a permanent software entitlement for its licensed domain. It does not by itself create a hosted Omega Plugins entitlement.

When hosting ends

When the relevant hosting entitlement becomes inactive, new Omega Plugin execution is blocked. Previously applied website changes are not automatically reversed simply because operational plugin access ends.

MANAGED HOSTING ARCHITECTURE

Your website source and the private Omega plugin engines are separate.

The hosted plugin implementations are maintained within the Omega hosting environment and are not exported simply because an eligible website can use them. Customer website ownership/export rights and private managed-hosting engine source are separate architectural layers.

Website portability remains a separate product right. The private operational Omega plugin source is not automatically included inside a customer's downloadable website ZIP.

PRODUCTION-SAFE EXPECTATIONS

Powerful operational controls without unrealistic guarantees.

No guaranteed search ranking

Technical SEO tooling can improve implementation and expose issues, but it cannot guarantee indexing, traffic, rankings or revenue.

No absolute security immunity

Security controls reduce risk and improve detection and hardening, but no software can guarantee immunity from every vulnerability or attack.

No fabricated browser metrics

Static or server-side evidence is not labelled as if it were genuine field-measured LCP, INP or CLS data.

No unsafe universal optimisation

Performance behaviour is platform-aware and controlled rather than applying the same destructive transformations to every hosted website.

No guaranteed uninterrupted availability

Uptime & Availability reports observed HTTPS availability, response status, response timing, TLS state and connectivity information. It does not guarantee uninterrupted website, hosting, network or third-party service availability.

No automated accessibility certification

Accessibility Monitor identifies supported technical accessibility issues through automated post-deployment checks, but automated monitoring does not certify or prove WCAG compliance. Manual accessibility review and testing may still be required.

No arbitrary scheduled execution

Scheduled Task Monitor reports authorised website-associated task health. Pure HTML monitoring applies only to legitimate Omega-hosted scheduled tasks associated with the website, while WordPress monitoring uses real WP-Cron information. Neither implementation provides arbitrary task, hook or command execution.

Website-scoped operational access

Hosted plugin execution remains bound to the authenticated customer, owned Website ID, eligible hosting entitlement, provisioned website, resolved platform and authorised live website context rather than allowing arbitrary website or server-filesystem access.

OMEGA PLUGINS FAQ

Hosted website plugin questions.

What are Omega Plugins?

Omega Plugins is the operational managed-hosting architecture for Image, Performance, Security, SEO, Web Metrics, Uptime & Availability, Accessibility Monitor and Scheduled Task Monitor. Each discipline has a Pure HTML implementation and a WordPress implementation.

How many hosted implementations are there?

There are eight plugin types and two platform implementations for each type: eight Pure HTML engines and eight WordPress plugin implementations, giving sixteen in total.

How do customers open Omega Plugins?

Sign in to My Account, select Website Engines, then choose an owned website from the shared website selector.

Do customers manually select Pure HTML or WordPress?

No. Omega resolves the platform from the authoritative hosted website record and loads the correct implementation automatically.

What if the website does not have active hosting?

The owned website may still appear in Website Engines, but plugin execution remains locked and the interface displays Hosting required.

Does a Lifetime Single Website Domain Licence automatically include Omega Plugins?

No. The Lifetime Licence is a separate permanent software entitlement. Operational Omega Plugins require an eligible active, provisioned Omega Hosting entitlement for the selected website.

Are Omega Plugins the same as the Omega Website Generation Engines?

No. Website Generation Engines create and validate website output during generation. Omega Plugins operate on an eligible hosted website after provisioning.

Does ending hosting automatically reverse plugin changes?

No. Ending the relevant hosting entitlement blocks new operational plugin execution. It does not automatically reverse website changes that were already applied while the service was active.

Is the private Omega plugin source exported with the website?

No. The managed plugin-engine source remains part of the private Omega hosting environment and is separate from the customer's own website source and applicable website export rights.

What does Uptime & Availability monitor?

Uptime & Availability monitors the verified hosted website's HTTPS availability, response status and response time together with TLS, DNS and connectivity information. Private website-scoped monitoring state and history can record UP, DEGRADED, DOWN and UNKNOWN states together with outage and recovery information. Monitoring reports observed availability and does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

What does Accessibility Monitor check?

Accessibility Monitor performs bounded post-deployment automated accessibility checks across up to 120 pages of the verified website. Supported checks include image alternative text, form labels, document language, heading structure, main landmarks, page titles, duplicate IDs, empty links and buttons, accessible names, iframe titles and basic table structure. Results can include severity, category, affected page, context, retained history and regression information. Automated checks do not certify or prove WCAG compliance, and manual accessibility testing may still be required.

How does Scheduled Task Monitor work on Pure HTML websites?

For Pure HTML websites, Scheduled Task Monitor reports legitimate Omega-hosted scheduled tasks associated with the verified website. Where no qualifying scheduled tasks are registered, the monitor correctly reports that none are registered. Pure HTML scheduled-task monitoring is not WP-Cron and does not provide arbitrary command execution.

How does Scheduled Task Monitor work on WordPress websites?

For WordPress websites, Scheduled Task Monitor monitors real WP-Cron events, including registered hooks, next execution, recurrence, overdue or suspiciously overdue events, duplicate hooks, excessive frequency and relevant WordPress cron configuration. It can also report limited task-error evidence where that evidence is available. It does not provide arbitrary WordPress hook or command execution.
