Website specifications, uploaded media, previews and temporary generation material may exist only while the project is active or within configured retention periods.

We may collect information:
If another person provides personal information about you, we expect that person to have lawful authority to provide it where required.
We may use personal information where reasonably necessary:
Builder requires website specifications in order to create the requested website.
Project data may include the domain, business information, website purpose, selected page types, content, styling preferences, brand settings, project settings, uploaded media and selected output platform.
Project data may be stored in private working directories while Builder, preview, checkout or export functions are active.
The Builder workspace is not intended to operate as indefinite customer cloud storage. Customers should retain their licensed website ZIP and their own backups as the durable copy used for future restoration.
Omega Web Pro may use local AI-assisted functionality and, where configured, external AI service providers to help interpret or structure website planning information.
Where an external AI provider is used, Omega may send a compact or normalized representation of the project brief needed for the planning task rather than treating the provider as the permanent repository or authority for the entire website project.
The information sent depends on the task, configuration and provider.
Do not submit highly sensitive or unnecessary confidential information in a website brief.
Third-party AI providers process information under their own privacy and contractual arrangements, subject to the safeguards and legal requirements applicable to Omega's use of those providers.
Uploaded files may be temporarily stored and processed for website generation.
Omega may transform uploaded images into responsive variants or other suitable formats for inclusion in the generated website package.
Only upload content you are authorised to use.
Uploaded files should not contain unnecessary personal, confidential or sensitive information.
Payment checkout may be processed by Stripe .
Stripe may collect payment-card details and other information required to process the payment under Stripe's own privacy terms.
Omega Web Pro does not store full payment-card numbers, card security codes or the customer's complete card credentials.
Omega may receive and retain information needed to reconcile and fulfil a purchase, including:
Omega Web Pro has no open public registration for paid customer accounts. A customer account is created from a confirmed paid purchase or another authorised licence process.
Account information may include:
A single customer account may contain multiple separately purchased website licences.
Omega Web Pro does not intentionally store account passwords in readable plaintext.
Passwords are stored using one-way password hashing designed for authentication.
First-time account setup and password-reset functions use secure, time-limited and single-use token mechanisms.
Where the system stores token records, it stores token hashes rather than needing to retain the raw emailed token as the authentication record.
Where My Account permits a login-email change, Omega may collect the requested new email address, confirm the customer's credentials and send a verification message before activating the new login email.
Changing a customer's account email does not change the historical purchaser information recorded against an existing commercial licence where that information is required as part of the licence or transaction record.
To administer the Omega Web Pro Lifetime Single Website Domain Licence, Omega retains licence information such as:
These records are materially different from temporary Builder working files because they are needed to administer a continuing lifetime licence.
Omega may create or retain limited security and audit records reasonably necessary to:
These records may include timestamps, identifiers, security-event descriptions and other limited technical information.
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:
We do not state that we “sell” customer personal information as part of the ordinary Omega Web Pro business model.
Some service providers used by Omega may operate infrastructure or personnel outside New Zealand.
Where Omega discloses personal information to an organisation or person outside New Zealand for the purposes of Information Privacy Principle 12, we will use a lawful basis for that disclosure.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include taking reasonable steps to establish that the overseas recipient:
Where Omega relies on an individual's authorisation for an overseas disclosure to a recipient that may not provide comparable privacy safeguards, Omega will obtain that authorisation in the manner required by law, including expressly informing the individual of the relevant privacy consequence where required.
Omega Web Pro may use cookies, sessions or browser storage where reasonably necessary for:
Essential cookies or equivalent browser storage may be necessary for parts of the Site to function correctly.
If non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are introduced, Omega will update this Policy and use consent or preference controls where required by applicable law.
You may control cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies can prevent My Account, Builder or other authenticated functions from operating correctly.
Omega may use privacy-conscious technical or aggregate measurement to understand service operation and improve website performance.
If third-party analytics or advertising platforms that process identifiable or pseudonymous visitor information are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any legally required notices or consent controls will be implemented.
Transactional messages needed for a purchase or account—such as account setup, password reset, purchase confirmation, licence messages and security notices—are distinct from marketing messages.
Where Omega sends promotional electronic messages, it will comply with applicable laws concerning consent, sender identification and unsubscribe facilities.
You may opt out of promotional messages using the unsubscribe facility provided or by contacting us.
Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent us from sending essential transactional or security communications concerning an active account, licence, order or support request.
We do not intend to retain personal information longer than is reasonably required for the lawful purposes for which it may be used.
Different categories require different retention periods.
| Information | General retention approach |

| Customer account records | Retained while needed to provide purchased account access and manage associated licences, and afterward where legally required. |
| Lifetime licence records | Retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer and verify the continuing lifetime licence. |
| Authentication tokens | Time-limited token records expire and may subsequently be deleted or retained only as limited security evidence where necessary. |
| Security/audit information | Retained for an appropriate period based on security, fraud-prevention, troubleshooting and legal needs. |
| Support communications | Retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve enquiries, maintain customer history and meet legal obligations. |

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without the authority or consent required by applicable law, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
If Omega becomes aware of a privacy or security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and respond in accordance with applicable law.
Where a privacy breach meets the legal threshold requiring notification under New Zealand law, Alpha & Omega Limited will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and affected individuals as required.
Additional overseas breach-notification obligations will be followed where applicable.
Omega Web Pro may contain links to third-party websites.
We do not control those websites and this Privacy Policy does not govern the personal information you provide directly to them.

OMEGA DATA BOUNDARIES
Omega Web Pro needs project information to build websites, but temporary Builder workspaces are not intended to become indefinite cloud storage. Certain purchase, account and licence records must remain available to administer the lifetime domain licence.
Website specifications, uploaded media, previews and temporary generation material may exist only while the project is active or within configured retention periods.
The licensed ZIP becomes the customer's portable durable project copy for deployment and supported future re-editing.
Account ID, Licence ID, Website ID, permanent domain and necessary licence history may be retained to administer lifetime rights.
YOUR ACCOUNT & LICENCE
Use My Account to manage supported profile information and licensed website access, or read the complete purchasing and lifetime licence process before buying.
Current account + editor architecture
This section supplements sections 1–27 above and explains additional processing introduced by the current customer-account and licensed editing architecture.
We may process and display account profile fields, login email, Customer Account ID, account status, account creation and login timestamps, email-verification state, company/contact details, number of licensed domains, Licence IDs, Website IDs, permanent normalized domains, generation counts, last platform used, generation timestamps, Pending Checkout orders and Purchase History records. This information is used to authenticate the customer, provide the purchased service, preserve licence integrity, support customers, prevent fraud and maintain commercial records.
When secure checkout is started, Omega may create an account-linked pending order before payment completes. Records may include Order ID, normalized domain, selected platform, amount/currency, creation time, checkout state, Stripe Checkout Session identifiers or URLs/status references, customer/account linkage and security/audit data. If the customer deletes an abandoned pending checkout, Omega may retain minimal audit information where reasonably required for security, accounting, dispute prevention or legal compliance even though the active dashboard item is removed.
Paid purchase and licence records may include payment status, amount/currency, Order ID, Stripe transaction/reference data, Licence ID, Website ID, permanent domain, account ownership relationship and timestamps. These records may need to be retained for the life of the licence and longer where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims, contract administration or regulatory obligations. A privacy deletion request does not necessarily require deletion of records that must or may lawfully be retained.
When a licensed customer uses Website Editor, Omega may process Website ID, authenticated account/session data, project files selected for editing, submitted source-code changes, validation findings and line references, preview requests, save actions, version/revision metadata, whole-project validation results, updated ZIP-generation events, canonical/domain integrity checks, timestamps, IP/security signals and technical logs. This processing is used to provide the editing service, secure the platform, enforce the permanent-domain licence and diagnose failures.
Editor preview may transform or isolate customer-edited code for safe display. Customer-edited PHP may not be executed in the preview environment. Preview and validation logs may contain snippets or references necessary to identify an error; customers should avoid placing passwords, API keys, private keys, SMTP credentials or other secrets directly in editable public website source.
Where version history is enabled, accepted saved revisions and associated metadata may be retained so the customer can inspect or restore prior states and so Omega can protect project integrity. Retention can depend on service design, storage limits, security needs and the continuing licence relationship. Version history is not represented as permanent backup storage.
Uploaded licensed ZIPs may be unpacked into temporary private workspaces and checked for account ownership, Licence ID, Website ID, normalized domain, project metadata, cryptographic/project signature, file types, paths and security conditions. Temporary files may be deleted after the workflow or according to operational retention rules. The customer should keep its own latest licensed ZIP.
We may process password hashes, login attempts, session identifiers, CSRF/security tokens, verification/reset tokens, security events, timestamps and technical request information. Passwords should be stored only in protected hashed form where Omega controls authentication. Time-limited verification and reset tokens are used for account-security workflows.
Where GDPR/UK GDPR terminology applies, processing may rely as appropriate on performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as service security, fraud prevention, licence integrity and support, and consent where consent is the appropriate basis (for example optional direct marketing). The applicable basis depends on the processing activity and law.
Applicable privacy rights may be exercised through available account controls or by contacting Omega. Some profile information may be editable directly. Requests concerning permanent licence, payment, security, tax, fraud-prevention or legal records may be subject to lawful retention exceptions. Changing personal profile information does not rewrite historical commercial records where preserving the original record is necessary and lawful.
Where personal information is made available to service providers in another country, Omega applies the safeguards required by applicable law for the relevant transfer. Depending on the jurisdiction this may include adequacy mechanisms, contractual safeguards, transfer assessments, statutory exceptions or comparable lawful mechanisms. Customers who independently connect third-party services to their generated websites are responsible for their own disclosures and transfer compliance.
Omega does not treat customer account or licence information as a commodity for sale. If a law gives a person a right to opt out of a legally defined “sale” or “sharing” and Omega engages in activity within that definition, Omega will provide the legally required mechanism. Optional marketing consent remains separate from the purchase contract.
Omega uses automated systems for generation, validation, fraud/security checks and licence integrity. These systems support the service and do not change any mandatory rights a person may have regarding solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects where such laws apply.
Customers should provide support only with information necessary to reproduce an issue. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, API keys, SMTP passwords, Stripe secret keys, database passwords or private signing keys. Omega may redact or securely dispose of unnecessary secrets inadvertently supplied where practical.
